Looking for Home Insurance?
Homeowner’s insurance protection is a vital part of owning a home. Purchasing a homeowner’s insurance policy, or home insurance policy, means purchasing protection for the inside and outside of your home.
What does Home Insurance cover ?
Dwelling: Protects the structure of your house such as the wall and roof. The coverage limit should equal the rebuild cost of your home.
Other Structures: Coverage for structures that are on your property but not attached to your house. (e.g., detached garage, fence and shed)
Personal Property: Provides protection for your personal belongings (furniture, electronics and clothing) when damaged by a covered peril. For expensive items such as jewelry, fur, art, antiques and musical instruments please ask your agent about “Scheduled Property”.
Liability: Protects you if you’re found to be liable for someone’s injuries on your property. This coverage will help cover legal expenses and medical costs.
Loss of Use: Also known as additional living expense, this coverage helps pay for the additional living costs while your home is being repaired or rebuilt due to a covered loss.
Homeowners insurance policies normally do not cover perils like flood and requires a separate flood policy. Please contact Kevin Lee Company for additional questions or to get a quote.
